Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - 2026

I grew up less three hours from Philadelphia but never properly explored it. So when it came time to plan one last trip before moving to London, it felt like the perfect choice. Horus, Peter, Ian, and Alaeddine joined me for what became the final GEMBA boys trip sendoff. GEMBA, which stands for Global Explorers Making Bad Ass Adventures and is a long running inside joke between my brother and I, is the group chat that has come to represent my closest friends, and Philadelphia was our last hurrah before a new chapter began. We hit all the classics: cheesesteaks, the Rocky statue, great food, and plenty of walking. We also caught a Marty Supreme showing, met new people along the way, and spent a lot of time talking about AI, business, and life. It was the kind of trip that reminded me how much I value the people around me, and a fitting way to close one chapter before embarking on the next one. Moving to London.
