St. Simons Island, Georgia - 2025

In April 2025, I attended the wedding of my good friend Michael, who I first met through Justin when we were all competitive Pokémon players. Our friendship grew on a trip to Germany in 2019, and we’ve stayed connected ever since, often joking about random things like “Glebe,” a road name in Virginia that became one of our many inside jokes. Michael was marrying his fiancée Grace and invited both Justin and I to celebrate. Justin and I don’t see each other as often now that we don’t play Pokémon, so we traveled together and road-tripped from Jacksonville to the venue. This was my first non-family wedding, and it was an incredible experience to be part of such a special day.
