Seattle, Washington - 2022
In the summer of 2022, I moved from my parents’ basement in Myersville, Maryland to Seattle for a finance internship. Up to that point, I had been working in a warehouse and running TheLabTCG, my Pokémon card business, so this opportunity was a major shift. Living in Seattle for six months ended up being one of the most transformational periods of my life. I had just gone through a breakup, lost over 100 pounds, and was focused on self-improvement—reading, networking, and learning how to build lasting friendships. It was also my first time living alone, and I was fortunate to meet amazing people like Tony, Yoon, Sarah, Rohit, Salmaan, Jake, and others who became key friends and mentors. The photos below capture a time that was both personally and professionally pivotal for me.
